Yantra India Limited issued online applications to recruit candidates for 3883 posts of Apprentices in 58th Batch under the apprentice Act 1961 on Ordnance factories and invites interested candidates, who should meet the required eligibility. The eligibility is provided, which includes details of eligible ITI and Non-ITI candidates and the procedure for selection based on qualifications, and conditions are also laid down. Category, Non-ITI Applicant must have passed Madhyamik (Class X) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate and at least 40 % in Mathematics and Science Class. Category, ITI Applicant must have passed and achieved the minimum 50 percentage from an institute recognized by the NCVT/ SCVT or equivalent in the Trade test. candidates to appear for ITI examinations must have also passed class tenth with an aggregate of 50 percent marks. thus, candidates are advised that they should check their selected Ordnance Factory vacancies position and eligibility so they can make selective choices according to it.
Candidates must apply through online mode only via the link on the website: https://recruit-gov.com. No other application formats will be accepted. It is essential to read the instructions in the advertisement thoroughly before submitting the application.
A Candidate has to fill in personal particulars with care. All the name, date of birth, and marks obtained in examination are essential to be precisely reflected at Matriculation or Equivalent certificate. Any discrepancy noticed during document verification of a candidate, their candidature will be canceled automatically.
An active mobile number and a valid email ID are to be provided at the time of filling up the online application, which will be kept active all through the engagement process because all important messages will be sent by email/SMS.

All documents should be clear and legible. A candidature may be rejected at the time of document verification. The candidature shall be summarily rejected if the uploaded documents are irrelevant and not legible.
Application forms/documents are not required to be made available in hard copies at the concerned Factory/unit /YIL. A registered email ID of the applicant concerned will receive a soft copy of the application in PDF format after final submission.
Application shortlisted for award will receive a confirmation SMS/email of their online application and website. Change of name in the factory request will not be entertained after the applicant submitting online application.
Only one application per candidate will be accepted. Submitting multiple applications with different particulars will result in rejection of all such applications.
Candidates must have an Aadhaar Card. As a part of the registration process, candidates are supposed to add their 12-digit Aadhaar Number. Candidates do not have an Aadhaar Card or are enrolled but have not yet obtained the card may use any of the first 14 digits of the Enrolment ID appearing on the enrolment slip. All shall use this except candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Meghalaya, and Assam, who shall be allowed to use any one of the following as Id proof:

Selection will be based on merit and the choice of Ordnance Factory indicated by the candidate. Merit lists will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories.
The merit list for NON-ITI will be factory-wise based on the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent). Candidates have to submit the original mark sheet issued by the Madhyamik Board.
If the candidate's board is adopting CGPA/GPA grading, then marks must be entered; not the CGPA. The wrong entries shall be computed into percentages based on the standard factor of 9.5 and irrespective of the criteria being adopted by the boards in their computations. While using the percentage conversion factor, due care has to be exercised and the proper conversion methodology adhered to.
The merit list for Ex-ITI will be factory-wise and trade-wise, based on the simple average of marks in both Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% aggregate required).
Original mark sheets from Class X must be submitted Percentage from grades to be calculated using formula given and candidates are supposed to make sure that the entries made are correct.
Based on vacancy, select lists will be prepared, and only provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.
If two candidates happen to be in tie on merit list, preference shall be given to older candidate. If the date of birth is same then that candidate with earlier date of Matriculation certificate would be preferred. And in case both dates of matriculation are same also then alphabetical order of candidate's names would be followed.
YIL reserves the right to revise the select list as necessary, and the decision of YIL/Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories will be final in this regard.
Notification has been provided by Yantra India Limited under the Apprentice Act of 1961, seeking applications for various apprentices for different trades under ordnance factories. The two categories are ITI and Non-ITI, which is the 58th batch. 3,883 vacancies have come into existence for which all the eligible candidates will get their application form for the purpose of online submission.
There are a total of 3,883 vacancies available for the Apprentice recruitment in the 2024 batch.
The application fee is ₹200 plus GST for UR and OBC candidates, and ₹100 plus GST for SC/ST/Women/PWD/Other (Transgender) candidates.
The minimum age limit is 14 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years as of November 21, 2024, with age relaxation applicable as per rules.
For the Non-ITI category, candidates must have passed Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent). For the ITI category, candidates should possess Madhyamik, along with an ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
The last date for online application submission is November 21, 2024, by 23:59 hours.
